"Tim has worked for Brighton Dancing a few times in the last year; he has always approached his work with professionalism. His work has consisted of teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced Ballroom & Latin courses and, when required, Salsa.

Brighton Dancing customers have had no previous knowledge of Ballroom & Latin and Tim has taught them the basics in Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Slow Rhythm, Quick Rhythm, Ballroom Tango, Rumba, in a lively, fun and encouraging manner. These customers have been complimentary of his lessons and come back for more!

Tim's dancing style demonstrates his competition background which sets a visual standard his class can aspire to. Tim has proved himself to be reliable, trustworthy and punctual, he has been able to follow lesson plans set for him and happily created his own lesson plans too.

Tim has been an asset to the teaching team at Brighton Dancing and I will happily use his services in the future."

"Tim’s work in the studio was outstanding.  He is a very competent and beloved teacher who went to extraordinary measures to reach as many potential students as possible.  His dancers adored him both inside and outside the class setting because of his gentle charm, caring manner, and dazzling teaching skill. 

His classes were the some of the most heavily attended in our very varied line-up.  Because students in our teaching setting create their own schedules, it is a testament to Tim’s prowess as a teacher and group leader that so many of the campers wanted to spend their spare time dancing with him.  In order to match their enthusiasm, Tim often met with dancers at alternative times and places for rehearsal – so that every dancer was set up for success.

Tim shared his talents very generously with our entire community by spending countless hours preparing himself and others for performance opportunities which were strictly voluntary.   He is a talented performer who is both fun to watch and a joy to dance with.  It was a pleasure for me to have on my staff someone who not only did an extraordinary job within the classroom setting, but also did so much for the dance program by way of marketing classes and demonstrating through performances.  I’d love to have ten more teachers just like him!

He is trustworthy, talented, kind, and great with people.  I am holding out hope that he and I have still more chances to work together in the future."

"Tim successfully auditioned for Polestars in October 2010, and in a short time has already proven himself to be an exceptional member of the team. Not only did he receive positive feedback from the first hen party he co-taught, but he also took the helm of our new Strictly Come Dancing programme, including choreographing ten simple yet effective routines in a short space of time.

Tim recently led the first training session for this Strictly programme and received glowing praise from everyone who attended, including one fellow teacher commenting that it was the best training session she had ever attended!

He is a fantastic team player, and has demonstrated high levels of dedication and commitment to every project he has taken onboard for Polestars. We were happy to name Tim our Teacher of the Month for February 2011, and are looking forward to seeing more of his work in the future."
